Two things landed this week. Your account moved into the game, and your name can finally say something about you.
Custom titles
A coloured tag in front of your character name — in chat, and above your head.
Earn one. Titles unlock from what you have already done, and any single requirement is enough:
- Wanderer, Veteran, Ascendant, Immortal, Eternal — 100, 500, 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 hours played
- Herald, Clarion — 50 and 500 votes
- Recruiter, Kingmaker — 5 and 25 players referred
- Sworn — being in a guild
Earned titles cost nothing. If you qualify, claim it.
Or make one. Six ready-made titles are on sale for Dragon Coins — Emberheart, Moonlit, Trickster, Gilded, Vagabond and Nightfall — or write your own text and pick your colour.
Titles belong to a character, not an account, so you choose which one wears it. One free change a month; changing sooner costs a little. Find it in the Dragon Shop under Custom Titles.
Six pages now open inside the game
Press Expand in the middle of your taskbar and you will find Fortune Wheel, Minigames, Weekly Quests, Achievements, Security and Support. They open in a window inside the game — the real pages, not cut-down copies. No alt-tabbing, no losing your place.
In-game announcements
Server news, event reminders and the things worth knowing now appear in chat on their own schedule, instead of only when a GM is awake.
Fixes
- Event countdowns no longer freeze. A finished event used to sit at 00h 00m 01s forever, and the next one never appeared until you relogged.
- Typing in an in-game window no longer plays the game. Searching the shop was firing quickslots and opening your inventory at the same time.
- Titles now show on every map. They were only appearing on one.
- Minigames: plays you earned but could never spend are usable again; the counter no longer offers runs the daily cap will refuse; and rounds settle on the server clock rather than your computer's.
- Unblock character was itself stranding people. Repaired, and the wait is down from an hour to 10 minutes.
- Partner codes now record their uses — they never have.
- A New Arrivals shelf on the Dragon Shop, and the account menu is now one consistent list everywhere.
Client 1.82 arrives automatically through the launcher.
