Crystal2 New Era

Hello everyone! The Crystal2 team is here with the initiative of a PVM MEDIUM/HARD server with a MAX LEVEL of 105. We have noticed that most servers attempting this kind of gameplay fail to balance PVM progression with PVP, and you have probably grown tired of weeks — or even months — of farming with no dynamic interaction between players.

We still want to preserve the classic experience of farming, hunting bosses, and enjoying a rare drop in a dungeon, so during the creation of this server we came up with solutions to keep that classic, nostalgic vibe woven seamlessly into the medium/hard experience of the good old days.

We talked with the community, reached out to players, studied your requests and needs, and through this analysis we identified the problems you face — and we addressed them.

For faster progression we added accessories and low-level armors to the Armor Merchant NPC, so you no longer waste unnecessary time in map1.

We added weapons up to level 20 at the Weapon Merchant NPC. Level 30 weapons drop, as you are used to, from the brutes in map2 and Seungryong Valley.

At the General Shop you will find the essentials needed to progress without worrying that your wind shoes will expire or that you will run out of mana or health potions.

On the server you will also find the offline shop and search shop systems — set up your stall, log off, and let the trades flow.

There is also a ranking system so you can monitor and compare your progress with other players!

To keep gameplay from feeling monotonous and as dynamic and pleasant as possible, we designed drops the following way:

• Metin stones grant consumables: green/purple potions, dragon god defenses, skill books, blessed scrolls, spirit stones — items that develop your character.
• Dungeons grant rarer items that develop your equipment.
• Local field bosses (9-tails, Fire King, etc.) drop medal pieces — the only source for crafting costumes.

This way every farming method is valuable, and you can always switch strategies to make money or upgrade your character or equipment.
