Crystal2 — 0.4.0 · The Halloween Festival
Halloween has arrived on Crystal2! The world is decorated, pumpkins drop from every monster, red Pumpkin Metins rise around the Metin areas and Jack Pumpkin has opened his shop next to Seon-Hae in every capital. Everything is in the new Festivals window: press the FESTIVAL button under the minimap.
Two kinds of pumpkins
- Halloween Pumpkin drop from monsters everywhere - hunt around your level to find them. Bosses and Metin stones do not drop them.
- Pumpkin Lanterns come from the Pumpkin Metins.
Red Pumpkin Metins
One Pumpkin Metin for every five levels, from 5 to 105, spread around the Metin areas of 18 maps: about 300 on every channel. They are red and bigger than the decoration pumpkins, so you cannot miss them. Each one has three times the HP of the normal Metin of its level, calls the same monsters and keeps that Metin's drops - and it also gives Pumpkin Lanterns and luck points. A destroyed one comes back 10 to 20 minutes later, and the map gets a notice when one appears.
Jack Pumpkin's shop
Jack Pumpkin stands right next to Seon-Hae in Yongan, Joan and Pyungmoo. His shop has two tabs.

The luck wheel and the Pumpkin Compass
In Jack's Luck tab, a spin costs 10 luck points and can win you a Pumpkin Compass. Right-click the compass in your inventory and it points to the nearest Pumpkin Metin on your map. It has five uses, and on a map without a Pumpkin Metin it tells you which maps have one and keeps the use. You can also buy a compass for 10 Halloween Pumpkins.
Shop anywhere
No more running back to the capital: unlock Jack's shop from anywhere for 30 days, for 500 Halloween Pumpkins + 100 Pumpkin Lanterns, in the Festivals window. Buying, the luck wheel and the compass then work wherever you are.
My festival: statistics and titles
The Festivals window keeps your own count - Pumpkin Metins destroyed, monsters hunted, pumpkins and lanterns found, spins and wins - and seven titles you can earn and wear in front of your name:

- [Pumpkin Slayer] - destroy 100 Pumpkin Metins
- [Pumpkin King] - destroy 300 Pumpkin Metins
- [Night Stalker] - hunt 5,000 monsters during the festival

Decorations
Pumpkins in several sizes and Halloween figures - witches, mummies, ghosts, bats and more - decorate the capitals and the hunting grounds, mostly where players spend their time. Some of them even stroll around their spot.
Also new in 2.22
- Titles on the character selection: your title shows on your character's slot.
- Dragon Shop boosts: after you buy account boosts the game offers to log you out (they start at the next login), and it tells you when one more boost makes the cheapest one free.
- The chat stays above the expanded taskbar.
- Options › Graphics › Resolution: pick your window size; it applies the next time you start the game.
- Inventory sorting keeps your stacks exactly as they are.
