Crystal2 — 0.6.0 · Take to the skies: broom flights, Large Map 2.0 and moving clouds
Look up: the clouds are moving. Client 2.35 brings the sky to life, turns the Large Map into a real tool - and opens broom flights: pick any spot on the map and the Witch's Broom carries you there through the air. Add a farm tracker with a damage meter, an auto-sell, a window for your Metin stone queue, F5 for channels, instant logouts, new pickup and graphics options and a What's new button in game, and this is the biggest client update in a while.
Broom flights
- Fly anywhere on the map: open the Large Map (M), click a spot and press Fly here. The broom takes off and flies you there on its own - no need to hold a key.
- One-way ticket: a flight costs some Yang (your first flight each day is free), and you cannot get off until you land.
- Open for everyone since 11 October, 17:37 UTC.
Large Map 2.0
- Zoom with the mouse wheel or + / -, and drag the map around.
- Hover over a mark to see its name, and make the marks bigger (Icons: 1x, 1.5x, 2x).
- Pick a spot on the map: it shows as a waypoint pin on your minimap - and the spot your broom takes you to.
A livelier world
- Drifting clouds and a sky that slowly turns.
- Sharper ground in the distance: textures no longer blur a few steps away from you.
- Graphics effects: a soft glow, richer colours, sharper detail and smoother edges. They are on for everyone: set the strength of each one in Options > Graphics, or switch them all off in Options > Game > New features.
- Grass on grassy ground, off by default: switch it on in Options > Performance and pick Low, Medium or High. It grows on green ground only, never on roads, in water or inside buildings.
- Your choice: Options > Game > New features has a switch for every new feature (the effects, grass, the stone queue window and more), each for you alone.
Quality of life
- Metin stone queue window: Shift + right-click Metin stones to queue them. The queue now has its own small window with every stone, its distance and the one you are attacking. Remove one, clear them all, pause the queue, or fold the window into a small bar that stays out of your way until your next login. The queue waits by itself while the anti-bot check is open.
- F5 opens the Channels window: change channel without going through the menu.
- Instant logout: logging out, closing the game and changing character are instant when you are not in a fight. The 10-second wait only comes right after a fight.
- Farm tracker (F8): time played, monsters and Metin stones, EXP and Yang per hour, items picked up and your damage per second with your best - it keeps counting when you change maps.
- Auto-sell (Options > Pickup): choose what to sell on pickup (weapons, armour, helmets and shields, jewellery and shoes) up to a level you pick. Items with bonuses are kept unless you say otherwise, and sealed, socketed or +5 and higher items are never sold.
- More pickup filters: Options > Pickup can also skip potions, upgrade materials, spirit stones and skill books, for the Z key and for auto pickup.
- Smoother start: the first login after a PC restart is quicker on hard disks, and no more freeze in a busy city when a class appears that you had not seen yet.

What's new, in game
- A small What's new button next to the Money bar opens the latest update notes. A gold dot means there is something new, and the notes open by themselves once after an update. Untick the box at the bottom if you only want the button.

Coming soon: Crystal Chase
- Crystal Chase - Pumpkin Panic, a tag game on Hollow Isle: pass the cursed pumpkin before its fuse runs out, collect candy for the shrines' blessings, drop bombs to stun everyone near you. The last runner standing wins, with a monthly ladder. You can already take a peek in Crystal Events.
- We announce its start here in the news.

Fixes
- A rare hang or crash right after logging in ("You have been connected to the server").
- The minimap buttons' tooltips are back after you resize the game window.
- The Crystal Events button glows for each of your characters until that character opens it (2.34).
Client 2.36 arrives automatically through the launcher. See you in the skies!
